Welcome to Rantsville - population: me!

Sorry, im going to use this blog every now and again to save the miss's and work colleagues sanity and let off a bit of steam on things that ever so slightly tick me off and welcome comments telling me to hush now its the same for us all or in agreement that im right and they are wrong whoever they may be! This time round its car insurance that makes my blood boil! Every year i get a renewal cost that is about 25% more than what i paid the previous year - why!? How do they justify it? Considering its the same car, im a year older and so wiser (as the saying goes) and i made no claims last year so have another years no claims on top of the 9 i already have - 'sorry sir, premiums across the board have gone up' rubbish! I contact a handful of other insurers and get the price down, ring back to cancel with current company who then say they can match the new price - aaaaarg why not give me that price in the first place! So out of principle i change companies, customer retention they really need to work on that (and dont get me started on the actually price i have to pay for my insurance - i swear they confuse my astra for a zonda or similar supercar!) Anyway glad thats out there now, have yourselves a wicked wednesday!
